Yellow Card
The yellow card serves as a warning. It is shown for minor offenses and fouls such as blocking, holding, pulling on the jersey, arguing with the officials, or substitution errors. Each team has a total of three yellow cards, and a player may be warned only once. An additional yellow card can only be given to the bench — i.e., the coach or team officials. If the quota is exhausted, the referees will award a two-minute penalty for every further offense worthy of a yellow card. That means the offender must sit on the bench for two minutes and their team must play short-handed.
