Flocking children's jersey or printing children's jersey

Should the children's jersey be flocked or printed? Although flocking jerseys was the standard until a few years ago, there are now better alternatives in terms of price and quality. With flocking or digital printing, the jerseys are subsequently covered with imprints. But there are some disadvantages. Air permeability can be impaired if these areas are pasted over. In addition, the print is affected after every wash cycle, which can lead to faded colours or brittle structures. There is a cost associated with each print, depending on the number of colours, complexity and size. Thanks to sublimation printing, these problems can be avoided. Sublimation printing combines fibres and dye into a single unit that can only be separated at temperatures above 200 degrees Celsius.This method ensures 100% colour fastness and maximum breathability. In addition, there are no limits to the freedom of design, unlike when printing standard jerseys, where there is often only a choice of black, yellow or green. Printing children's jerseys by flocking is therefore obsolete. Why hasn't the sublimation printing process caught on, even though it is so advantageous?
