The Club Strategists – Pascal Grüne & Martin Schüttler

Behind the name “The Club Strategists” are Pascal Grüne and Martin Schüttler – a duo that builds the perfect bridge between passionate amateur sports and highly professional sports business. Both are graduates in sports management and licensed DOSB club managers, yet they complement each other ideally in practice: while Pascal, as a systemic consultant (LSB) and former board member of a large sports club, knows the challenges of volunteer-based structures and engagement development inside out, Martin contributes financial and structural expertise from top-level football (Werder Bremen, 1. FC Köln) as well as from the field of auditing and financial consulting. As external guest authors on the spized blog, they combine this extensive know-how into a unique expertise. The Club Strategists provide club boards and engaged members with practice-proven solutions on topics such as club finances, merchandising, knowledge transfer, and future-oriented club management.
