The community has decided: The title of “Jersey of the Month” for July goes to PTSV Ravensburg. spized Art Director Max Gillmeier is impressed with the design, too – although he has a clear suggestion for improvement when it comes to one detail.

July jersey of the month: PTSV Ravensburg spikes its way to victory

The spized community has decided: The title of "Jersey of the Month" for July goes to PTSV Ravensburg.

The current jerseys of the following clubs were up for the vote:

  • PTSV Ravensburg
  • SpVgg Mögeldorf
  • SV Eversburg

The jersey of PTSV's third volleyball team received 41% of the votes cast. The handball division of SV Eversburg came in second with 28%. SpVgg Mögeldorf took third place with 28%. A total of 207 people took part in the vote.

With their victory, the Ravensburg team secured a €100 voucher as well as a place in our Hall of Fame. It features all the jerseys you have chosen as Jerseys of the Month – the perfect place to find inspiration for your next jersey design.

Creative design with one small criticism

"What a great and creative way to approach this design. I really like the pattern in the small sections," says Max Gillmeier, Art Director Jersey Design at spized. However, he sees room for improvement in one detail: "Where I have some major objections, of course, is the website address underneath the number. I guarantee you, nobody in the stands is going to pull out a notebook or open the Notes app to write down a website address from the jersey. Personally, I think a QR code on the shoulder would be a more elegant solution. But other than that ... the details, the patterns, including those on the collar, are all really nice. I like it very, very much."

PTSV Ravensburg in the club profile: Sport brings people together

PTSV Ravensburg was founded more than 50 years ago by employees of the postal service. Since then, "the club for everyone who wants to play sports" has developed into an open sports club for people from Ravensburg, Weingarten, and the surrounding area. Today, PTSV has around 115 members who take part in a variety of sports activities.

By far the largest group is the volleyball section, with around 80 members actively involved. In addition to volleyball, the club's program includes badminton, soccer, Nordic walking, and various gymnastics activities. In this way, PTSV brings together people of different sporting interests and generations. Whether through team sports or group training, the focus is on an active club life where sporting performance is not the only thing that matters.
