A World Champion in the locker room, brand-new kits, and beaming faces all around: With a personal visit from handball legend Pascal Hens to TuS Brockhagen’s first men’s team, our major spized design campaign has reached its spectacular conclusion.
Winning a custom team kit after competing against teams from all over Germany is a massive achievement—and a prize like that deserves more than just a standard delivery. As the ultimate highlight of the campaign, handball legend Pascal “Pommes” Hens personally traveled to Brockhagen to surprise the team right in their home gym.
For the squad, this visit was the perfect way to cap off an exciting competition. During the official handover, the players didn’t just have the chance to talk shop and exchange professional insights with their celebrity guest; they also got to "inaugurate" their brand-new jerseys immediately with their first shots on the court.
The Winning Design: 100% TuS Brockhagen
So, how did this special visit come about? TuS Brockhagen managed to fully win over the former pro with a truly exceptional jersey concept. The team proved they have a keen eye for translating their club’s DNA into a modern and unique aesthetic.
The design stays true to tradition, featuring the classic red-and-white club colors, with sponsor logos seamlessly integrated into the overall look. However, the real showstoppers are the striking grey side panels: they provide a stylish contrast to the red jersey and elegantly weave the town’s name together with abstract architectural elements. It’s a composition that makes one thing clear: this jersey is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece you won't find anywhere else in the world.
Flashback: More Than 140 Teams Picked Up the Digital Brush
The World Champion’s visit to Brockhagen was the crowning moment of an incredible journey. Together with Pascal Hens, we called upon the amateur sports community across Germany to get creative in our spized 3D configurator. The mission: design the ultimate kit for the new season—inspired by the iconic jerseys from the World Champion's own legendary career.
The response was overwhelming, with over 140 unique designs submitted. In the end, choosing TuS Brockhagen was a "top-level" decision—personally hand-picked by Pascal Hens himself.
