NFL in Germany – History and Unique Features of the Game

Since then, at least one NFL game has taken place on German soil each year. These games are part of the so-called International Series, through which the league promotes itself worldwide. In 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Miami Dolphins at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park before the New England Patriots hosted the Indianapolis Colts in the same stadium a week later.
